The results of the Concours Mondial Bruxelles held in Guimarães (Portugal) on 4 - 6 March have just been announced.
Chateau Saint-Esteve has received two medals: a gold medal for the cuvee Ganymede 2009 and a silver medal for the cuvee Henry de Monfreid 2009.
In total, 8 397 wines and spirits producers from 52 countries competed before a selection of the best tasters in the world. Sommeliers, buyers, importers, journalists and wine writers – a total of 320 tasters of wines and spirits from 40 different nationalities were floored for 3 days to assess all the samples presented. This diversity of products such as profiles of tasters is the original feature of this competition which has in just a few years become a true « world championship » of wine and spirits.
